Learn&work’s extension for institutions and organizations

With the proposed “Keys in hand vocational schools”, Scuola Radio Elettra extends the project Learn&Work by offering it to both public and private institutions and organizations who need to train associates and/or employees but who have neither the facilities nor the know-how to do so within a suitable timeframe and cost compatible with today’s frenetic pace.

This offer is unique, because Scuola Radio Elettra does not aim to provide the service at its own facilities and with its own staff and equipment; rather, the school designs and operates a vocational school for the customer together with the customer himself, when and where the customer wants.

How does this happen?

The project that aims at creating a turnkey vocational training school is divided into three phases:

  1. Design phase

Learn&Work will carry out a survey, a verification, and a validation of parameters and resources such as:

    • Finding the best place to locate the school (location)
    • Number and type of students
    • Professional skills that the students must have acquired by the end of the course
    • Local and logistic facilities
    • CVs of the tutors and local collaborators
  2. Structure implementation phase

Learn&Work will start and complete the:

    • Construction or structural adjustment of the spaces
    • Retrofitting of all classrooms and other rooms in the School building
    • Supply, installation, and testing of laboratories and workshops
    • election of the staff and their training, both in Italy and onsite, for:
      • The direction of the School (headmaster)
      • The teaching body (graduate professors)
      • The technical assistance team (technical and practical teachers)
      • The professional assistance team (artisans and trade experts)
      • The maintenance/non-teaching team (warehouseman, guardian)
  3. Course beginning and management phase

    • Recruit the students and verify the access requirements such as knowledge, skills, and competencies
    • Form and organize the classes
    • Plan the training activities (lesson schedule and timetable)
    • Provide help in the development of lessons, as well as with monitoring and control
    • Assess the students (formative assessment), at the end of each lesson and training module
    • Carry out the final examination (summative evaluation), consisting of a written test, an oral test, and one or more practical tests
    • Deliver the final Certificate of Attendance (Scuola Radio Elettra Diploma)
